Beam Global is a clean technology leader based in San Diego that designs, patents, manufactures, and sells electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure that is 100% renewable so the world can Drive on Sunshine, and energy storage solutions that power micro mobility, electric aircraft and electric watercraft. We are building our marketing organization and are looking for a dynamic highly motivated marketing professional in our San Diego headquarters. The exploding EV charging infrastructure and energy storage industries serve many emerging vertical markets and we seek a B2B marketing team member who revels in addressing multiple markets, loves to build engaging content, and embraces the latest marketing technology to scale outreach. Your Role
In this foundational marketing role, you bring experience with a high-growth environment, modern marketing tools and B2B marketing programs. Enthusiasm and a passion for building a better future need to come through loud and clear. Gain the experience of building the marketing technology stack from the ground up and expanding Beam’s communication channels. You’ll bring a well-honed talent for messaging, writing and developing compelling content that educates and engages. You thrive in a fast- paced environment, are creative, independent, focused and an excellent problem solver. As a brand steward, this role internalizes the Beam brand and casts that brand look, feel and tone across all outward-facing facets of the company. This role is based in the San Diego headquarters.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build the marketing technology stack (evaluate, recommend, learn, implement)
- Use marketing technology to execute efficiently and magnify our voice
- Be the Beam brand champion and steward internally and externally
- Design, launch and manage campaigns across channels to drive engagement and demand
- Develop collateral for the sales team, marketing programs and executive leadership
- Assess and recommend events to attend; manage pre, during and post event presence
- Work with our web team to keep website content fresh and build engagement
- Manage our social media properties, content, engagement
- Develop a deep understanding of the benefits of Beam product lines
- Write content for collateral, videos, social, website, blog, events, webinars, etc.
- Author clear creative briefs for designers/videographers to create inspiring on-brand content
- Track, measure and report key marketing metrics for continuous program innovation
What You Bring
- 5-8 years of marketing experience required (of which 2-5 must be B2B marketing)
- Excellent writing talent with impeccable grammar and a ‘no-typos’ polish
- Understanding of brand building and brand language
- Track record of managing owned digital properties (company social sites and website content)
- Affinity for marketing technology
- Marketing automation skills a plus; eager to learn if little/no experience
- Messaging and positioning experience
- Willing and able to be detail oriented and hands-on, while keeping the big picture top of mind
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver on commitments
- Light design capabilities a plus
- Excellent powerpoint/keynote capabilities; adept at productivity software
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent minimum
