The United States Departments of Transportation and Homeland Security and Environmental Protection Agency will provide more than $1 billion this year to help ports upgrade facilities and infrastructure to enhance resiliency, decarbonize and make investments in emergency preparedness and we’re eager to help you leverage these funds for off grid solar EV charging.

With funding solicitations OPEN NOW, in this webinar we’ll review the funding requirements, lessons learned from past funding rounds and how to prepare a winning submission. Our goal is to ensure that you are prepared to compete for and capture your share of funding for clean energy infrastructure.

What you will learn:

  • Overview of 3 funding streams: PIDP, Clean Ports, PSGP
  • Which might be most viable for you based on your scope and use case
  • How off grid renewable solutions add value to your submissions
  • Lessons learned from prior funding rounds
  • What the federal government is looking for from successful applicants
  • Best practices for winning applicants and how BEAM can support you through the process
  • How to request funding through your federal elected officials and request their support for competitive federal applications

Hear from Amanda Wood, our DC-based federal funding expert, who brings her deep understanding of both competitive grants and the federal appropriations process to give you guidance and answer your questions. Ms. Wood will be joined by Beam Global Clean Mobility Expert Andy Ike to discuss sustainable EV charging and energy resiliency.
