Envision Solar Unveils First EV ARC™ Transportable Solar-Powered EV Charging Station in Europe

SAN DIEGO, CALIF. – Sept. 20, 2016 – Envision Solar International, Inc., (OTCQB: EVSI) (“Envision Solar,” or the “Company”), the leading renewable energy, media and branding and EV charging product company, unveiled the first EV ARC™ in Europe to representatives of the City of Malaga, including the Mayor, the Government of the State of Andalucía, the President of the Port Authority of Malaga and members of the press.

The first vehicle to charge on the EV ARC™ transportable solar-powered EV charging station was a BMW I-8. The EV ARC™ will be made available for free for port employees and visitors who will all be able to take advantage of driving on sunshine.

“It was a pleasure to answer questions from members of the press and government officials,” said Aquilino Ornia, Managing Director of Envision EU. “We are confident that there is a large market for our products in Spain and Europe and today we are taking advantage of those markets.

“At the Port Authority of Malaga, we are deeply committed to benefiting the environment,” said Paulino Plata Canovas, President of the Port Authority of Malaga. “Using Envision’s solar-powered EV charging station is a great step towards our environmental goals.”

“We are proud to have the opportunity to unveil our first EV ARC in this market,” said Desmond Wheatley, CEO of Envision Solar. “This is an important first step in opening markets for our products in the rest of the EU and Middle East.”

Invented and manufactured in California, the EV ARC™ product fits inside a parking space and does not reduce available parking in any way. It generates enough clean, solar electricity to power up to 150 miles of EV driving each day. The system’s solar electrical generation is enhanced by the patented EnvisionTrak™ system, which causes the array to follow the sun, generating 18 to 25 percent more electricity than a fixed array. The energy is stored in the EV ARC™ product’s energy storage for charging day or night. Because the EV ARC™ product requires no trenching, foundations or installation work of any kind, it is deployed in minutes and can be moved to a new location with ease.  In the future, we plan to fabricate and assemble EV ARC™ products in Malaga, Spain.
