Envision Solar Delivers First EV ARC™ Transportable Solar-Powered EV Chargers to California Department of General Service (DGS)

SAN DIEGO, CALIF. – Oct. 20, 2015 – Envision Solar International, Inc., (OTCQB: EVSI) (“Envision Solar,” or the “Company”), the leading renewable energy, media and branding and EV charging product company, announced today that the first delivery of its EV ARC™ product has been made to California’s Department of General Services (DGS) as part of a Purchase Order against the recently announced California State Contract awarded to Envision Solar.

The EV ARC™ transportable solar-powered EV charger is deployed at DGS headquarters in West Sacramento.

“This electric vehicle charging station is just another example of how DGS is leading by example on sustainable, green government operations and practices,” said Brent Jamison, Deputy Director at DGS. “The EV ARC causes no environmental impact when it’s deployed and it enables us to drive completely emissions free, which is very much in line with our goals at DGS.”

“The State of California is a world leader in clean transportation and this deployment of EV ARC is another perfect example of that,” said Desmond Wheatley, CEO of Envision Solar. “They say that as goes California, so goes the rest of the country. We are looking forward to deploying a lot more EV ARCs in California, across the US and the rest of the world. The EV ARC delivers real emissions-free driving and it is perfectly in line with Governor Brown’s goals for California.”

Invented and manufactured in California, the EV ARC™ fits inside a parking space and does not reduce available parking in any way. It generates enough clean, solar electricity to power up to 150 miles of EV driving each day. The system’s solar electrical generation is enhanced by the patented EnvisionTrak™ system, which causes the array to follow the sun, generating 18 to 25% more electricity than a fixed array. The energy is stored in the EV ARC™ product’s energy storage for charging day or night. The EV ARC™ requires no trenching, foundations or installation work, allowing it to be deployed in minutes and moved to a new location with ease. Envision Solar’s EV ARC™ products are manufactured in the company’s San Diego facility, by combat veterans, minorities, workers with disabilities and other highly talented and mission-driven team members.
