Dr. Sam Plunkett is the Director of Battery Technology at Beam Global and has been part of the Beam Team for the past 5 years. His work is focused on performance and safety development of high energy density lithium-ion battery packs incorporating Beam’s patented PCCTM material. Sam received his bachelor’s from the University of Newcastle, Australia, and received his PhD from the University of Illinois, Chicago where his research focused on synthesis and electrochemical analysis of advanced lithium battery materials.
