Envision Solar Will Be Attending U5G
Envision Solar will be attending the Advanced Naval Technology Exercise (ANTX) 2018 Urban 5thGeneration Marine Exploration and Experimentation Exercise from March 15th – 25th. These exercises solicit mature prototypes from industry, academia and government R&D. The exercises give warfighters the opportunity to assess technology to improve; survivability, lethality, and connectivity in complex urban environments. One thing these technologies have in common is they need power to work.
When asked, what would be the single most important technology you’d like for the infantry? Gen Neller replied, “That’s a really hard question,” He thought hard for a moment before saying what Marines really needed was a way “to recharge batteries — or maintain a sort of expeditionary power capability that doesn’t cause me to have to pull a wagon or something.”
